Social listening and cultural resonance
Wingstop UK
Wingstop UK have been at the pulse of culture from the start, and it is why they have become the fastest growing QSR in the country with the kind of resonance on TikTok most brands spend years chasing.
As the business grew, the social team needed an agency partner as culturally fluent as they are. Not to find trends, which they were already good at, but to make sure trends were being used to build real cultural resonance rather than simply being jumped on.
What we did
We built a tooling stack that pulls insight from social listening and paid media together.
It flags conversation as it forms, identifies the content most likely to land with Wingstop's audience, and tells the team where to put paid budget so reach and engagement follow quickly rather than days later when the moment has passed.
The point is not speed for its own sake. It is knowing which conversations are worth entering, and backing those with spend while they are still live.
The result
- Social listening insight feeding directly into high production campaigns, lifting organic engagement
- New store opening campaigns built on local cultural fluency rather than a national template
- One million followers on TikTok
Coventry: turning a delay into the campaign
It started with a trending dancing Ugandan uncle meme to announce the upcoming store. Engagement enhanced by local rivalry with Leicester still not having a Wingstop.
Then the opening slipped. For most brands that is a problem to be managed quietly, a holding post and an apology once the date is confirmed.
Instead the account told the truth, in the voice the audience had already responded to.
With the city now watching, Wingstop UK made the uncertainty the mechanic. Rather than announcing a date, they engaged local creator RudyTube inviting Coventry to guess it, with a £100 voucher for whoever got it right.
The comments became the campaign. Every guess was a reason to come back, and by the time the doors actually opened the city had been in on the joke for weeks.
The social listening then fed into a highly engaged high production launch campaign.
A delay that could have cost the launch its momentum became the thing that built it, and the approach has since shaped how new store openings are handled.

Authentic Storytelling & Partnership
PLANTMADE
A partnership was formed between our company and Plantmade, a natural wellness brand, to help them expand their presence. The hair growth market is tough due to customer skepticism about regrowing hair after hair loss. Recognizing the need for a holistic approach beyond paid ads, Plantmade and our team collaborated. We used data and cultural insights to create a real-time communication strategy that built trust and boosted revenue. This strategy centered around authentic storytelling and involved various teams within Plantmade, including founder, partnership, retention, social, and creative teams.

Reigniting the Unity Cup for a New Generation
The Unity Cup
The Unity Cup was once a powerful cultural moment for African and Caribbean communities in the UK but after a 20-year hiatus, it had little digital presence, no recent footage, and no engaged audience to retarget. The ask? Turn this legacy event into a viral moment and fill the stands in less than 60 days.

SOUL CAP is a sportswear brand dedicated to making swimming inclusive by providing swim caps designed for people of all hair types. They approached us with a goal to build on their existing success on Amazon and drive growth for their direct-to-consumer (DTC) store.
